I’m not sure that I have another Ottolenghi book in me! Although I do like Helen’s recipes so I might reserve my judgement until it comes out. Sofra looks good as does Karkalla, neither of which I have heard about. I have Sift on preorder as well as Natures Candy. I like the look of Alexandra Stafford’s book Pizza Night and Desi Bakes by Hetal Vasavada. Some of the decorating looks a bit over the top for me but I like the idea of Indian inspired baking. I’m sure there will be more!
I know what you mean, this Ottolenghi one may be the decider as to whether I feel the need to add any future ones to my collection without seeing it prior. Sift and Nature’s Candy were books I considered adding to the list! But I really want to see Sift in person as I have so many baking books (though it does look good), and I wouldn’t mind seeing Nature’s Candy too before I purchase as whilst it looks really interesting, I want to make sure I’d actually use the recipes. I haven’t heard of Pizza Night, I will check it out! I am also looking forward to Desi Bakes!
That lumberjack cake …. Yes please ! Gorgeous.
It’s a great recipe! I am hoping to make it this weekend.
