I received Love is a Pink Cake for my birthday (in May), but I haven’t baked from the book yet. I bookmarked a matcha blondie recipe and something with blackberries (I’ve got lots in my freezer from last summer). Maybe I won’t even bake from the book and it will remain unused...but I love reading the head notes and enjoying the photography as inspiration alone.

What a lovely birthday present to receive! I was looking at the matcha blondies too, and there is so much use of fresh fruit in the book, how great to have a stash in the freezer. I agree it’s a wonderful book even if nothing gets made from it, but I’m sure it will be even more loved if you do try some of the recipes.
